Hello everyone first post ever! Now I am no stranger to 40k but I have been away for about two years due to family and military matters. Now however I come back and find that a new edition is upon us and with that I want to get into the mix. A friend of mine has convinced me to try out a Mechanized force out of Codex Dark Angels in a meta that is heavy with Gunline style lists and with that in mind here is a rough outline of what I want to build towards. I appreciate the help and look forward to 6th edition.

I plan to form a "wall" of sorts with the Land Raiders by moving them forward and then turning them with their side facing the enemy until I am ready to fire. Rest of the army follows behind with two of the TL Lascannon and one of the TL Assault Cannon Razorbacks forming the wings of the advance so they can fire on targets that need their attention. The Whirlwind and Command Razorback will stay behing the Landraiders while they advance with the Whirlwind bombarding my opponent as I move forward.

Find points for a pfg ie drop your company master change it to a Libby on bike with a pfg, the rest of the points either add a bike tech w/ pfg or 3 bikes for allocation(bike pfg lets you have a 4+ invul and turn the bike sideways for a longer range)

In that case, perhaps a ravenwing command squad would be worth it to get FNP.
