Should I swap the D-Cannons for Vibro Cannons?
I am set on using the rest of the list...I came up with using Vaul's Wrath on the note that I think Fire Prisms are lacking in their lance and small blast...just not cutting it for me...

-Farseer (Jetbike; Singing Spear)
-Warlock (Singing Spear)
TROOP

-10 Guardian Defenders
---Wave Serpent (TL Scatter Lasers; Holo-Fields)

In my opinion, all the support weapon platforms should be run in multiples except the D-cannon platforms. With the look of your army, nothing will really be trying to get close to your lines, and the D-cannons will most likely just sit there most of the game. The other two options are a better choice because they can reach out and touch the other army from a distance

The only real reason I was thinking about D-Cannons was to deter the only real threat to Wave Serpent...Assault.
I feel that the VibroCannons are amazing for their points cost. Unfortunately at this time I'll be using the shadow weaver bits to make my nightspinner. Automatically Appended Next Post: I also deal with Crisis suits, Thunderwolves, and Paladins on a regular basis...as well as the in your face IG fast tanks.

Shadow weavers would be your best bet to deal with the enemies you named. D cannons are too expensive for what they do, as double the price of the gun for half the range and only slightly more effect. The chance to insta kill is nice but you will only get a single shot if anything gets into range, which most people will avoid.
Vibrato cannons are good for long range at on the cheap. They can also instakill small elite squads as they go from autocannon to krak missiles to lascannons as the squad hits. The weavers are the best though

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

So you'd suggest Vibros over Dcannons?
With the extra 75 pts I could nab myself a warlock at that point too for some conceal.
Changed my list, added the hawk exarch, a warlock, a ranger...
