I have been daydreaming about a Piranha themed army for some time now. Here is what I have come up with.

HQ:
Ethereal

Troops:
5x 6 Firewarriors + Devilfish w/ Disruption Pods

Fast Attack:
2x 5 Piranha w/ Disruption Pods

5 Piranha w/ Disruption Pods and Fusion Blaster

Heavy Support:
2x Skyray w/ Disruption Pods

Any thoughts? Could it work? 15 piranha seem like a lot to deal with, not to mention the three 10 strong drone squads your opponent gets nothing for killing.

Sure, 15 piranha are a lot to deal with, but they would be blowing up constantly. The AV11 front is their only saving grace, but the open topped means any actual anti-tank weapon used against them is going to do horrible things. You must go first in order for this list to work well, as the difference between a 6+ cover and a 4+ cover is a squadron of dead piranhas.

Well he can just hide them behind the rest of his tanks and/or reserve any to make sure that the piranhas get the alpha strike
