British role-playing game publisher Modiphius has announced a deal with DUST studio to produce a role-playing game based on Paolo Parente’s DUST universe. The game, titled Dust Adventures, is scheduled to release in the summer of 2014.

In the game, players will be able to explore the DUST world and the background events and storylines presented in the other DUST games. Rules for playing characters from the Allies, SSU, and independent factions will be included. The rules set will include both beginning and advanced rules.

DUST Adventures will be published as a core rulebook and setting guide. Modiphius plans to support the game with a series of supplemental guides and campaign scenarios. The role-playing game will use a modified form of the game system used in the DUST Tactics miniatures game. Adventures published for DUST Adventures will also include missions for the DUST Tactics and DUST Warfare games as a form of cross-promotion.

In March, Modiphius announced that it would be launching a new edition of the Mutant Chronicles role-playing game later this year (see "'Mutant Chronicles' RPG Returns").

We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Any clue what kind of system this will use? Modified DUST Tactics seems weird given it's not as well received as DUST Warfare.

The press release just say it will use the same dice as tactic/warfare and be easy to bring character bewteen the RPG and tactic/warfare. So I'm not excepting to much out of the game. What I really like to no more about is the Cthulhu Dust cross over book.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.
