Hi there Dakka Dwellers,
I'm a long time lurker, first time joiner. The first time I found this forum was back when there were Apocalypse sized battle reports before the release of Apocalypse. I've been playing and painting Warhammer 40K stuff since second edition, and I've branched out into Battlefleet Gothic, Warhammer Fantasy, and dabbled with the Lord of the Rings SBG. I also enjoyed Monsterpocalypse.
Currently I'm playing a Tau army using models that I originally purchased in the original Army Deal from back in 2001. I have an Apocalypse sized Dark Angels army weighing in at 10,000+ points, but I haven't had a chance to play with them in some time. I also have a Blood Angels army based on the First Company with a focus on the Sanguinary Guard. I also have all three flavors of Elves for Warhammer Fantasy (High, Dark, and Wood) in various stages of painting, along with a Bretonnian army.
I'm also an avid roleplayer. I've mostly focused on the various incarnations of D&D from AD&D through to the 4th edition.
I finally opted to join up because I finally have a camera that takes decent pictures of my figures. I'm eager to start sharing pictures of my work and receiving feedback on how I might be able to improve. Thanks!
