Hi, Im looking for some suggestions or feedback on my current ork list.

Warboss = 100
Mega Armour

Battle Wagon = 130
ard case/ Red Paint Job/ 4 Big Shootas

4x Meganobz = 160

10x Lootas = 150

9x StormBoyz = 143
1x Nob/ Power Klaw

19x Boyz = 160
1x Nob/ Power Klaw/ Boss Pole

19x Boyz = 160
1x Nob/ Power Klaw/ Boss Pole

Currently 3 points over 1k. My intentions are to have the battlewagon for the extra saftey for my mega nobs to get them up the board and rip stuff apart, but im not sure wether the cost including the battlewagon is fully justified in such a small list. The stormboys will zoom about the board punching any vehicles while potentialy taking some focus from my 2 units of boyz foot slogging to enemy lines. I have 10 lootas for some supporting fire.

Please have a look and all criticism is welcome, thanks.

Drop the Ard Case and 3 big shootas off the Wagon and add a deffrolla..then it becomes a menace in its own right..and open topped is a boon for orks not a bane ...
foot boyz really do not need a PK Nob..2 Big Shoota boyz and a Nob With Big Choppa, and Boss Pole seems to work better

Split the lootas into two units of 5 ...any extra points you may gather from suggested changes = more lootas ..

Between the stormboyz and the battlewagon you have alot of mobility, but the boyz will get left behind, and you give your opponent the chance to kill half of your army before facing the other half
i'd think about turning those boyz squads into trukker boyz so they can keep up, maybe even drop the lootas for a third trukk full of boyz
or alternatevly you can drop down one of the boyz squads for another battlewagon with deffrolla and additional stormboyz

also i am totaly in agreement with morfydd, putting ard case and big shootas on a battlewagon is a waste of points you wont lose, especially if you get a second BW they woulnt be able to dakka with the boyz inside the wagon freely (not to mention that a deffrolla can ram anything to death xD )

I like 5 MegaNobz and a MegaBoss in a Trukk with Red Paint and a Reinforced Ram. Hide it out of sight or behind an ADL, then Flat Out 25". When the Trukk goes up, you have a 33% chance for the MegaNobz to stay put, 33% chance to get a few more inches from an emergency disembarkation, and ~10% chance to move even closer towards your opponent. Them's good odds for Orks, and frees up more points for a KFF for your foot sloggin Boyz.

I don't write the rules. My ego just lives and dies by them one model at a time.

seems ok to keep if you has the points
first things first. SPLIT THE LOOTAS INTO SQUADS OF 5. allows you to split yer fire better and probably get moe shots.

if you dont feel like changing ur list ignore my bs i like to say to try and make a list "better". i say this cus you dont show what models you have or if your gonna get more and i dont like people fellin bad cus they dont gets to play with they lovely orky models!

ight so in my opinion them boyz are being left behind!
ditch the stormboyz
ditch a squad of 20boyz
and ditch ard an 3x big shootas on the bw. this is refunding you 338pts
i would grab another wagon for 90pts+20pts for Deffrolla and RPJ. n 1x BS
put a deff on yo other battlewagon.
leavin you at 218pts
and should take dem 20boyz and put them in trukks with RPJ for 106x2
this lets you zoom up with your whole army and go flat at dem gits and ram with your rollas pop there tanks and have the boyz jump em! also with doin this you get 4 troops.

Tips:
SPLIT THE LOOTAS INTO SQUADS OF 5
keep the trukks behind the battlewagons givin them a cover and gun it as fast as you can!
once you clean there squads of jump on there objectives leaving yours behind.

just my "opinion" on whats "better" in a 1000pt game as orkav14 is soso cheap also i cleaned up those scary 3pts you were over on.

Orkimedezz has a good point there at the end. AV14 is hard to combat in a 1000 point list, unless you're playing against IG or Eldar. Most other armies can't afford to take the big guns that will power right through it. I agree with the recommendation for leaving at least one big shoota on the wagon(s), because the deff rolla does not count as a weapon, so on a pen roll of a four without a weapon, you're immobilized. On the plus side, though, you can't lose the deff rolla on a weapon destroyed . 5 points for a chance to keep your rolla smashing is a good investment to me, especially because you might actually kill something with it!

To reitterate, split the lootas in to two groups. The only reason to bring only one group is if you only have one slot left.

Orkimedezz also has another point, though he did not voice it directly, about the other wagon. Your MANS will get beat to hell if they're the death star of your list. Unfortunately, Orks don't really have death stars like marines do. It'll be tough to take out the wagon, but plasmas are cheap, and AP 2 is the bane of a MANS' existence. Taking another wagon will increase your chances to keep theirs alive, as well as having a backup transport in the case the one gets taken down.

I personally don't trust trukks because they're First Blood fodder, but if you can manage to protect them, they will certainly get your boys up the board fast.

The "MANS in a wagon go krumpin RIGHT NOW" strategy is great on paper, but in reality it doesn't work. I've tried it more than once and they always just end up dying before they can do anything effective and before the boys can get into the fray.

anyway thanks for rewordin once you get into a large post its hard to keep organized and keep everything moving alone.
trukks are just a bunch of bolts to get you across the bored. t1 they are the love of my life and can kareen into some termis and kill 4 of em! silly marines didnt see it commin!
