Now I'm much more of a fan of the darker blue color of the crimson fists and I've seen two ways of doing it. Kantor blue over a black base or Necron Abyss over a black base. Has anyone tried either method and if so, what was the result? I saw awesome paint job's crimson fists and must say I did not care for the brighter colors.

Kantor blue for sure (in my opinion)
