Hello dakkadakka I need help.
I joined an escalation league at my flgs but i need help making a good 750 csm pt list.
In this escalation league the rules are that you role for what choices you get to use to make your list.
1=hq
2=troop
3=elite
4=fast attack
5=heavy support
6=personal choice
At the 750 pt level you get 4 roles I rolled two 1's and two 6's
So i have to make a 750 pt list with 2 hq's in it. I cant come up with anything at such a low points level that might be effective.
I currently own:
1 Typhus
1 Sorcerer with ps
1 Chaos lord in termie armor with fist/claw
23 plague marines two plasmaguns and two flamers
15 csm 2 with plasma guns
40 cultists 20 with autoguns and 20 with ccw
3 hellbrutes
1 defiler
1 helldrake
If anybody can come up with suggestions to help me make a semicompetitive list any and all help with be most appreciated.

Can you proxy? I know some escalation leagues don't let you do that.

I cannot proxy, but i have some money i could use to buy other models.
What did you have in mind?

You have a good number of models there for 750... Take the sorcerer, and a bare bones nurgle Lord, then take a squad of plague Marines and definitely the heldrake. At 750 you have the survivability and killing power of the heldrake and plagues, which become scoring thanks to the nurgle lord.
Unless someone tries to field a termy wing you should do pretty damn well in that point level.

So something like:

Nurgle lord- MON - 80

Sorcerer- Mastery level 3 -110

Plague marines x15 - 2 pg's - 390

helldrake- bale flamer-170
This comes at exactly 750 pts. if i calculated correctly
