so I'm pretty new to 6th edition and i've got some neglected nob bikers and black reach boys hanging around. trying to piece together an interesting list (hopefully somewhat competitive) including 10 Nob Bikers! so here go's...

Warboss - PK= 25pts
Warbike= 40pts
Attack Squig= 15pts
Cybork Body= 10pts
Bosspole= 5pts

= 155pts

Warboss- PK= 25pts

TROOPS

Nobz- x5= 100pts
Warbikes= 125pts
x2 PK= 50pts

Ard Boys- x12= 120pts (to be put in the Battle Wagon)

So thoughts? i don't mind changing any of it and i'm not sure if i've given the right equipment. I've thought of buying a Dakka Jet or some more shooty stuff, tbh the only reason i put the Battle Wagon in there with a KIllkannon is to scare the opponent into shooting that over my Nob Bikers, but thats just theoretical seeing i've never used this list before!

Well first thing i thought of is the Bosspoles on the warbosses are something I'd drop, since you already have a bosspole in the nob squads, and there are scenarios where a warboss breaks off of a squad of nob bikers to take out some vehicle or something.
The other thing I was thinking off, that it probably would be better to drop the battlewagon and the ard boyz for two trukks full of regular boyz.
Yes they are less survivable but you get double the amount of boyz in a fast vehicle
Or the other option is to tweak the battlewagon and put in a deffrolla and a bunch of big shootas, and then fill it with regular shootaboyz, so it can run around shooting people and tankshocking, But a single battlewagon gets gunned down really fast in any scenario.
I can see that you are going with a "go fasta!" tactic so the stormboyz should do just fine in this list,
But this being said I would look into adding some Big Gunz (kannons) and/or Lootas instead to add some supporting fire and a way to deal with Armor, since the only way you can handle armor above 10 is to claw it in CC
In any case it is an awesome Elite-like list

i think you are completely right. So i've just thought of a quick fix, not thought about this is great depth but i realise like you said the list hasn't got a lot/any thing that can deal with flyers or armour out of combat.

so if i take out the 2 bosspole's, take out the 'ard boyz and the battle wagon, i have 320pts to play around with. i could with this bring 3 Big Guns (kannons) and 2 units of 8 lootas, and still have 20 points spare which i would probably beef up my gretchin unit with.

or

i could do like you said and have the 2 units in trukks. and beef up the gretching unit witht eh spare 20 points. of course i would just have to ignore flyers and hope for the best but the amount of PK attacks and speed i would bring to the table would be interesting.

are these idea's any better? i'm completely lost if i'm honest on what to do after my 2 warboss's, 2 nob bikers and 2 strmboys. I'm open to any idea's after those 6 units
