So this is a really simple question which probably has many answers;
Which grass tufts or other "drag and drop" decorations do you prefer on your bases?

I got some Army Painter tufts with the standard basing kit, but honestly they're a bit boring, I would be more interested in trying some darker or dried up looking grass as well.

I like the Silflor ones, full seasonal range: http://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/727-24-silflor-tufts-4mm-late-autumn.html

They do nice flowers for bases as well.

The wasteland tufts from army painter have this quite cool grimdark look.

I like the Army Painter tufts.

If you want more elaborate options, take a look at the photo etched brass foliage available from Hasslefree.

Thanks for the tips!

How does one usually use the etched brass stuff, you just bend them into shape and paint?

I couldn't give advice about the brass tufts as I haven't used them. The metal is very thin and can easily be bent to fit though naturally it has a 2D aspect to it as it comes. Someone else may be able to give more info.
