Been Around the Block





So I have this list and I wanted some insight from some of you people that have experience playing. I am completely new to playing the game and I want to know if this would be a fun list to start playing. I am basing my list on what I have painted and what I think is fun. Not wanting to be competitive but have fun and dont get my behind kicked so hard when I'm just starting. And please leave some suggestions on either list adjustments or gameplay. This is not a fluffy list but it can be if you would like to help me

1500 points CSM List

HQ

Kharn the betrayer (Warlord and unlocks Berzerkers as troops)

Daemon Prince
Mark of Khorne
Power armor
Wings
Axe of Blind fury
(just awesome sauce)

Troops

35 man Cultist Squad
Close combat weapons
2 Flamers
(Kharn is going to join this unit, I think cultist strenght is sheer numbers and they need to be fearless, also they get hatred so.. cool)

10 Khorne Berzerkers
Champion with Power Claw

The Idea was 35 naked cultists to deliver kharn, as long as kharn is there they will automatically pass morale and if kharn kills cultists rolling ones it wont matter since they are expendable right?

Also I tried not to invest too much on upgrades for the units just to keep the cost low and so that it hurts less taking loses either the zerkers or cultists don't make it to combat the rest of the army will be free to reek havoc right? If I expand to a 1850 list I will probably get some vehicles and more dakka.

Daemon Prince of Nurgle (no wings no black mace)
2 Daemon princes of slaanesh with wings
Mauler fiend
10 Terminators (unassembled)
Defiler
Helbrute
7 plague marines

Please let me know what you think, what would you do to make this list work better
