So I was using my airbrush to ink like I had seen Les at Awesome Paint Job do on a PP Behemoth. For some reason I set it down and walked away and the red ink dried in the airbrush cuz I forgot to clean it out. Went to use it today and well you can imagine the red gunk in the well and on the needle.
I was able to disassemble, clean and reassemble the airbrush with no issue and in under 20 minutes it was shooting like nothing ever happened. So yea go Masters on this one!

As long as you don't let superglue dry in your airbrush, any decent airbrush can still be disassembled and cleaned.
It's just so much less hassle to spray water and airbrush cleaner right after paint, so you don't have to do the big cleaning, don't risk damage to needle or nozzle and don't get tempted to buy or use one of those airbrush destorying poking cleaning kits.

True, but this being a $30 airbrush I wasn't so sure.... I'm happy it worked!

Nobody - I hope. I was just looking for that " WTF why would you do that!?" substance that would make disassembly difficult. ;-]

Trust me it happens. I've seen people leave £500 sprayguns full of 2pack auto paint in the spray booth while baking. Not clever and rather expensive.

Last year I was think of spraying a vermin lord model with LGS and painting it with stoney colours to make it look like a statue some Skaven crudely made.
