So I've been reading the Angel of Fire and the Fist of Macharius books and decided i want to model my command squad after Macharius and his bodyguards, I've already created a model for Leo Lemuel and have got ideas for his friends Anton and Ivan, I just need to get Macharius himself, GW don't seem to sell the old metal model for him anymore but i was never very fond of that particular model anyway so wanted to try and convert a model to look like the Machrius depicted in these novels. I was wondering if anyone has attempted this before or if anyone has any good ideas on how to go about doing this? I had a little look around the forums but couldn't find much. As far as weapons are concerned I was hoping to give him the power fist artifact from the second book and an ornate looking pistol of some kind.
