Yeah, so I like being kicked in the face, as long as my army as a cool look ^^. I'm trying to begin small (cause we all know how much it can be to start an army these days). What do you think of this to begin with :

One of the nice things about a Daemon army is that it's possible to build a 2000 point army for a relatively small amount of money. If you go the Flying Circus route, you can have a strong (if spammy) army with a low model count for just a few hundred USD.

Fateweaver $60ish
3x Daemon Princes $120ish ($40 each)
Two boxes of troops $70

That ~$250 will get you up to 1500-1850 pretty easily. You could get to 2000 with another DP of a different mark in the empty HQ slot, or more troops, or some elites. In any case you could get to 2000 points for at or under $300.

My son runs Tyranids, and to get to 1500 he runs:
2 Flyrants at $60 each ($120)
2 Tervigons at $60 each ($120)
2 units of 2 Hive Guard at $25 each ($100)
Doom (uses a Zoanthrope) $25
Lots of Termigants (easily over $100 to have enough to spawn 'gant during a game)

So let's say I try this for 1250 pts:

Fate Weaver

Plaguebearer x10

Plaguebearer x10

Plaguebearer x10

Daemon Prince : armour, DoT, Psyker Level 1, Flight

Daemon Prince : armour, DoT, Psyker Level 1, Flight

Daemon Prince : armour, DoT, Psyker Level 1, Flight

As soon as points allow, your going to want to get the Grimoire & Portalglyph.

@ 500, that'll be tough.... but your second list, might drop a unit of bearers for them, plus a couple of greater gifts too.
Portalglyph is likely to spawn more troops for objective camping. Grimoire will help keep your princes/Fatey alive.

At 1250, you might also do well with only 2 princes. I'd consider trading one for 10 hounds and 5-8 screamers. Both move fast, scare opponents, and are scoring in one of the missions.

I faced something similar to this recently in a campaign. It was brutal. No one else could even touch this at 500.

It does have some room for changes and I forget the full list, but you get the gist of it.

That's the correct list.

Yeah, give it a try. Only Tau gave him problems as his GUO tanked just about everything and his PB had cover from the Nurglings.

I agree with two princes at 1250. I'd use the extra points on Greater Rewards and more Psyker levels.
