Hello, everyone. I've been playing 40k for a couple years with a small club (really a group of friends) using a motley collection of Tyranids models. My group tends to emphasize fun and fluff over really competitive tournament-style play, so any questions I have will be focused on being fun to play rather than being extremely competitive.

Right now, we're doing an escalation league, and I'm working on putting together a good list (and awaiting the new codex), plus painting my old Tyranid models, which have been gray for entirely too long.

Somewhere down the road I want to do a really fluffy Guard/Marines army and I'd like to get general advice on how to put a list together. Is the Army Lists forum the right place?
