I didn't get much useful feedback the last time i posted this and the thread derailed into gak and mush so I figured I would try again
Just a fun list I made that kinda abuses the KFF FAQ let me know what you think.
HQ
Imotekh the Stormlord
Veiltek
Chronotek
Stormtek
Stormtek
ELITES
5 Deathmarks
TROOPS
5 Immortals Tesla Carbine
5 Warriors
NS
5 Warriors
NS
HEAVY SUPPORT
Monolith
Monolith
Monolith
HQ
Big Mek
KFF
TROOPS
30 Slugga Boyz
Nob
PK
BP
HEAVY SUPPORT
2 Lobbas
4 Gretchin
3 Ammo Runts
According to the FAQ the big mek KFF effects everything in range (even enemies) because it doesn't specify what it effects. So the plan is to hide him in the block of 30 boyz and form a wall of monoliths with a 5+ cover boosted by Imotekh's nightfighting so on average a 4+ cover save. The chronotek goes with immortals and imotekh to keep nightfighting going. Veiltek goes with the Deathmarks for some HQ headhunting for a quick warlord kill. Stormtek goes with warriors in NS for tank hunting when neccessary. Lobbas sit behind the monoliths initially and lob over the monoliths. Its kind if a gimmicky list but its fun for what it can do

Page 34 – Mekboyz, Kustom Force Field.
Change the second sentence to read “A kustom force field
gives all units within 6" of the Mek a coversave of 5+. Friendly
vehicles within 6" are counted as being obscured and have a 5+
coversave”.
The Friendly Vehicles part kills your fun.

Not rly it just says friendly count as obscured but since my monoliths are still units they get a 5+ cover but don't count as being obscured

Vehicles need to be considered obscured to get a cover save. Popping smoke is an example of doing this. They mention friendly vehicles specifically as it's an exception to the rule.
Orks and Necrons are not battle brothers, hence monoliths are enemy vehicles for rules purposes to orks. Therefor this DOES NOT WORK.
Trying to pull it off would be cheating your opponents.

Check with the TO and get his opinion on it before bringing it to a competitive scene as, like many other rules, can be argued either way.
