I'm hoping this will win me some games and isnt too outdated of a list/dex. With all the new SM around (and plenty of old ones too) incubi seem like a solid choice and those two squads should carve up most things easily. The wyches are my AT, and may be able to beat up on small objective holders (maybe), the kabby squad is my main gunboat/objective holder. The reavers can do a little bit of everything and should be able to get where I want them easily. As with all DE lists I'm aiming to be fast and brutal, clearly if things start badly they're only going to get worse, but with my mobility and pure killing power I'm hoping I can hold my own.

So what do y'all think? Will this work against the newer dex's are there any things I should swap or change to make it stronger? Any glaring weaknesses? Thanks in advance.

The huge lack of AT is a serious problem. You have 10 wytches, 2 blasters, one dark lance and the archon for AT. With DE, since your units are fragile you need redundancy, and always bring more than you plan on needing. A mech list will end you off the bat. That said, venom spam is pretty strong, and doable. Consider making one incubi squad blasterborn to round out the tank hunting, or getting a ravager in.

I don't have the new book but in my older DE army builds I never took Wyches. I also loaded out on warrior squads, slapped them in raiders and made sure each unit was maxed.

IIRC: that meant a ten warrior squad had 2 Dark Lances, 2 Splinter Cannons, 1 Blaster and one Shredder, then 4 rifles and the squad leader. Quite often Dark Lance fire, especially concentrated, would tear through tanks, dreadnaughts and other slow armored units. BUT my troops were soup if Terminators got close enough for Close Combat. My Raider army is very heavy on models and very much a smash and grab. Also DE being my first army, I haven't played them in YEARS so this is all more "food for thought".

I also always to Drazen (Incubus special character). He is a can opener, and I have cleaned whole units with him.

In fact it is Drazen and my other 9 or so Incubi that are keeping me on the fence about selling off all my DE units...

I think you mean Drazhar, and yeah hes a beast. I love the guy, but at this point level I dont think he justifies that cost, he'll leave me low on the other necessities.

Yeah that dude! Like I said it has been years since my DE army came of the shelf... Much like a first childhood crush often I gaze at them and think of all the good times I though they would give me... before remembering how EVERYONE ALWAYS PLAYS SM!!!!

I am pretty much resigned to slapping together a good Kill Team for my models and then selling the rest Although I have been tempted to re-imagine them and mix in some of the new models...

the lack of AT is scary.... we have 1 of the best heavy tanks in the game . the ravager comes with 3 lances and is F 11 and S 11 for 105 points. the ravager can also move 12 inch and fire all of its weapons at Full BS due to its aerial assault rule. at 1k points i would drop 3 of the reavers and a incubi squad in favor of the ravager and try to put in 5 warriors with a raider but that is me .

I edited to show replacing one incubi squad with a 4xblasterborn. I'm hoping this shores up some of my AT weakness. I love ravagers and will definitely take them at 1500 points, but even with dropping the reavers (something im not sure would be worth it) I could only really fit one in. Thoughts?
