I'm new to mini wargaming
I've started to assemble my army, but I'm honestly not sure what I should run
I have no attachment to any particular type of unit
These are the models I own:
Draigo
Vindicare
10 paladin/terminators
5 PA Grey Knights
3 rhinos(I was offered the set for $60)

The guys at my shop aren't uptight about models having what they've got, i.e. a paladin holding a sword, but he actually has a hammer for the game, as long as it's noted before the game starts

Anyone play GK or know enough about them to help me build a 1k point army for a doubles tourney coming up soon?
Any help would be appreciated.

With what you have, you can play a 1000p list like this:

Kaldor Draigo - - - > 275 Punkte
Paladin Sqad(10 Paladins, 2 Psycannons, psybolt ammo)
Strike Squad (5 Grey Knights + 1 halberd for the justicar)

Grey Knights : 1000

Basically it's Draigowing and I am not sure if it works out, but at least you can seperate the paladins into two fighting units.
I, as someone starting Grey Knights right now, too, am not quite sure if I'd field a list like that since you really have very few units. I like to think that Grey Kights work at a point cost of about 1500 (others may disagree). The first thing to do, is usually glancing a bit into the codex and work out a cheap and playable list, then get the figures fo that list (it's not like it stops at one list and the figures you have...you'd always want more^^). The units that work best in low point lists are the strike squad vanilla Grey Knights (getting more of these is always a good idea).

"When in deadly danger,
When beset by doubt,
run in little circles,
wave your arms and shout." - Litany of Command (parody)
