After many iterations of lists I think I have maybe settled on a list, assuming I get zero replies to this like the last 2 lists (sorry, no boobs) ill just assume its good as is.

Im looking for constructive criticism but please know what you're talking about before telling me to change something solely because you thought it would be better without offering an explanation of why or a suggestion of what to remove in order for it to fit properly. From previous lists ive gotten all the ML's up to 3 even including the CSM prince while keeping all rewards

Dump the CSM prince and get another LOC. The CSM prince is not worth the points, and if you are going to ally in CSM
you should also be taking a Baledrake.

I suggest 2 LOC + 3 tzeentch princes, + horrors for a pure MC list. The strength of this list is actually it's shooting, not
it's assault.

Personally, I think Fateweaver + 4 Tzeralds\9 Screamers + 2 tzeentch princes is a superior competitive list. But that is just how I roll.

I have another list for screamerstar this I want separate and a different theme.

I must admit I had never even thought of taking a second LOC, I actually had to go read the codex to make sure I was even able to, I had figured he would be unique but that is not the case!

Id save 95 points by switching to a LOC vs a CSM prince + cultists, which I mostly was bringing for the mace, its just so broken lol and my original list did have the helldrake but I found the sacrifices to get it didnt = what it brought to the table.

Im definitely gonna look at a second LOC though.

LOC = uber. My favorite MC in the game outside Apoc. He is actually more killy in assault than a Bloodthirster with Divination.

Tip = always make sure you roll on the exalted chart, in case you get the free lesser. If you get the lesser, take the +2ST staff.

For models, I recommend the Forge World Lord of Change. It is one of the coolest models in the game. Expensive, but worth it. For the secondary LOC, get the Ultraforge one.

Personally, I think the mace is overrated. You will have better horde control with a second LOC.

Have you actually seen a forgeworld LOC? they are 10 inches tall, larger than a wraith knight. and cost 220+ dollars

Yes, I have one painted and have been using him since 5th edition.

I used to use him for Fateweaver in my Fatecrusher list.

Probably my favorite model in the game. He is wickedly cool if painted properly. Not as competitive as small LOC on a 60mm base, but the coolness factor makes up for it.
Totally worth the money. You can use him for LOC, Fateweaver, or Aetos the demon lord in Apoc. Aetos is one of the best Apoc units in the game.

haha, yeah if it was normal sized id buy it... but no.. I wish forgeworld made models I want, they always pick gakky units to make models for..

The Ultraforge one is another excellent option (I own both a FW & Ultraforge LOC, which is the best way to go IMO).

Just seems like not much there for 2000 points.

Two points.

1. You don't need four exalted rewards in your army, you need two: Portalglyph and Grimoire. Best setup for a flying Tzeentch Prince is, IMO, 2 greater and 1 lesser. Keep the best of the greaters, and turn the other one into the weapon, and then turn the lesser into the weapon. Now your Prince has two specialist weapons (+1A) and can choose between being S8 and turning characters into Spawn.

2. You need Fateweaver. A bit of bad luck can really screw you, and he helps mitigate that.

Im still going to have to play test a few things, and fateweaver vs a 2nd LOC or a black mace prince will definitely be the biggest one.

I do like the lesser rewards for the staff as well however, riftbringer (I think) is too good to not try and get, also there is the chance that I get another roll on the table anyway giving me the chance to force multiply points and rewards. Im going to play test the exalted gifts I really think it could be brutal.

I bought the ultraforge vrack last night, it does look pretty sick..

Now I need another LOC esque model, may buy another vrack but id like variety and also need a fateweaver alternative. (dont like his model)

I would go with the 2nd LOC. Fateweaver is not an auto include in a daemon army, it depends on your build.

I picked up my Ultraforge Vrock on Ebay for $70ish. Just get another one if you are too cheap to buy the FW one.

the FW one is just too big and I really dont like the model, I ebayed my vrock aswell for 70 including shipping. I may get a 2nd one after i see the one i got now.

Was your goal for Chaos allies just to get the black mace in? If your not set in stone on having ML3 on everything you can fit in a Heldrake with some tinkering.

yeah, basically that was the only reason, I tinkered with the helldrake, but didnt want to lose stuff to get it. ML3 is fairly important to be able to get off a 2 charge power and still shoot is key
