you guys have been helping me with a list and so far I don't have the Kroot to field it the way i worked it out so the list ive been using is a slightly modified version of that and its seemed to be working well (played 2 games vs chaos and mopped up pretty good) for the same point value i was wondering the viability of this list as a competative list for the tourny i have coming up. I'm just playing with alternatives and have a few people that I'm playing against to get some practice in but would like other options other than playing the same list.

same as before please critique and cut it up so i can have as good a list as possible. Thanks in advance i appreciate the help

Seems pretty good. You might want to drop the repulsor for retrothrusters, since you'll be relatively close range with those PRs. I'd also move the target locks fromt eh BG to the FB suits. You'll probably want the PR target to die, whereas you'll more often want the target flexibility of the target lock in the FB unit.

I made your Commander a support Commander because it felt like you were too markerlight dependent. This should give him more versatility while making whatever unit you attach him to more independent.

I swapped your bodyguards to normal crisis suits to save points and then added a the plasma rifles to them since I took them away from the commander.

I added EWO to the riptide to help against Tyranids and other dreep strikers.

I split up your Fire warriors a little so you'll have more scoring units, and more dakka for your ethereal.

I removed velocity tracker from your broadsides. While I'm not really happy about this, 40 points is steep. You have a Skyray so that should help. I'm counting on the markerlight support to take down flyers.

Everything that happens here is theory. The most important thing is that you find a list that suits you. Everyone has their own play styles and strategies which makes some things more effective than others. So find one that you like and refine it.
The most important thing is that you get used to your list. A bad list played well will always beat a good list played poorly.
