mk so its been awhile since i was last on a dakka so let me relearn the ropes as a local turni is in my commin area and i feel i need to teach em whats up!
now i am not a fan of BWs but with so much local fish people in my area i feel its almost needed to bring Bws. and im not just talking 2 or 3.....

i felt grot riggs was needed as i did do alittle battle testing with a lower amount of Bws (5) and once they get immobilized they are dearly useless. and since i got no meks this is needed.
since i got 2 nob troops i think t1 i leave em in the dust by are objectives and let them hide. an they got the bosspole when they decide to run away.

You can save a lot of points getting rid of those big shootas. As per the FAQ the deff rollas can't be destroyed by weapon destroyed results.

I love this list! I really don't see how fish heads could deal with this much AV 14, I wish I had the models to field this list!!!

they cant get ride of the Deffrollas but than sur can make them useless! as if he rolled a wep destroyed it goes to immobilized! witch does (in retrospect) destroy the Deffrolla you know? its more for protection!
and i bought a bunch of cool dump tanka trucks from target for 20$ each and ordered some bits to ork em up!

I bought a bunch of pencil sharpener cannons online for about $2 each, and they are amazing looking kannons.

and i like the idea because the lights light up (on top and headlights) when you put the dump part down and it sits 20boyz perfectly in the dump part! also makes a amazing danger noise!
That sounds like a good idea! i jsut took some 1/2inch PVC pipes and glued them to trukk wheels onto a large base for my ground kannons!

I reckon you'd get good mileage out of swapping the Warboss for a KFF Mek. Even with *some* IC weapons Tau will still be failing 5+ cover saves some of the time, and even one successful save is probably better value for money than the Warboss.

I'd also take at least one Kombi-Skorcha in each Nob Mob. A S5 AP4 flame template for 5 points is a steal

Finally, boost the boyz mobs to 20 with the points from the ditched battlewagon. That should help a lot.

Ok i see your point! The part about the mek though makes me think its worthless becuse i wont be getting much saves with it.

You should be able to get at least 3 Battlewagons inside the KFF bubble.
It's not a brilliant save, but better than nothing and it does stack with night Fighting.
And you might as well make one of those Nobs mobs into troops (since your Warboss allows it). Never know when grabbing an objective could help.

And yes good point forgot the add that to my troops thats the only way i could get the 4nobz squads

If they're expending Markerlight tokens just to remove a 5+ cover, then theyre not using those tokens for other things...

Thats true but getting rid of orks saves are better than pileing more wunds onto say like a marine who always gets his save

But why are there marines in a ork vs tau game?
