A game of epicness, awesomeness, and maniac beer. It's what brought me into wargaming!.
It does require LEGOs, or rip-off brands (mumbles about assassination) Silly and fun moar rules than 40k providing the ability for any violent situation!

With rules bound by sillyness and the general Idea that a violent and bloody loss is far greater than bloodless victory no matter how crushing Brikwars makes little LEGO people beating the living daylights out of each other funny! And with the ability to build your battlefield to any level of awesome I find it to be ALOTTA FUN.

For example, the description provided for the simple minifig:
A minifig is a cute and friendly-looking little fellow, but don't let his appearance fool you. Beneath his lovable exterior, a minifig is a remorseless killer. He’ll hack your heart right out of your chest if he thinks he could get away with it - his minifig village could live for months off the meat of a good-sized Human heart. Instead, he’s happy to go on massive fratricidal rampages in hopes of gaining favor with his godlike Human overlords.

So here are the rules. (With lots of pretty pictures and hilarious examples of rules)

And here's the Website

You may not use BrikWars or BrikWars materials for illegal or felonious purposes. These include, but are not limited to:

Soaking copies of BrikWars in gasoline and using them to start structure fires.
Spray painting rulebook excerpts or unit stats on the walls of subways or police stations.
Inscribing pages from the rulebook on heavy stone tablets and dropping them out skyscraper windows in the hopes of crushing pedestrians or small dogs.
Using actual humans and assault weapons in the place of toy miniatures.
Kidnapping the cheerleading squad at gunpoint and forcing them to play BrikWars for thirty-six hours straight.
Etcetera.

I have seriously debated playing Brikwars for years. While a little less inventive, you could play a Star Wars Brikwars by literally buying the kits off the shelf like you would minis boxes for a wargame. The ten dollar "little vehicle and couple of trooper" sets are especially enticing.

"By this point I'm convinced 100% that every single race in the 40k universe have somehow tapped into the ork ability to just have their tech work because they think it should."

I loved the times when I got to play this!

My favorite game was my Mad Scientist (an Ewok) and his army of droids spreading a plague to destroy a film crew (the hero's action allowed him to call in stunt doubles).

That sound great! For one of my games I had created a small map to simulate the inside of a space cruiser. I had a group of Merc defenders fight off oncoming waves of Star Wars Troops, Deadly Spacemen and Robots, to save they're supply of Donuts and Scottish Shortbread (Bit like a cookie only crumbley-er)

@AegisGrimm
It's a better (and money-saving) idea to search Ebay for just like a bin of Random LEGOs someone is selling. Lots (groups that is) of random non-minifigure bitz are easy to find for decent prices. e.g 500 hundred assorted LEGOs with 1 full minifig $20.00 american

I got lucky when a friend of mine decided he no longer wanted his 2 HUGE bins of LEGOs and just gave them to me for free. It basically doubled my already considerable collection.

Also it's a good idea just to buy some random town-folk figs for random bystanders
