Hey guys

Would be great to get some feedback on this simple list which have 125 points in spare.

- Bloodthirster, 2 Greater Rewards - 290 points

- Herald of Khorne, Greater Locus of Fury, 1 Lesser Reward - 85 points

- Herald of Khorne, Greater Locus of Fury, 1 Lesser Reward - 85 points

- Herald of Khorne, Greater Locus of Fury, 1 Lesser Reward, Juggernaut of Khorne - 130 points

- 14 Bloodletters, 1 Bloodreaper, 1 Lesser Reward, Instrument of Chaos, Icon of Chaos - 185 points

- 14 Bloodletters, 1 Bloodreaper, 1 Lesser Reward, Instrument of Chaos, Icon of Chaos - 185 points

- 14 Bloodletters, 1 Bloodreaper, 1 Lesser Reward, Instrument of Chaos, Icon of Chaos - 185 points

- 10 Flesh Hounds - 160 points

- Soul Grinder, Daemon of Khorne, Bale torrent - 155 points

- Soul Grinder, Daemon of Khorne, Bale torrent - 155 points

- 2 Blood Slaughterers - 260 points

A total of 1875 points so 125 points to spend. I was thinking of sacrificing one Bloodletter to get a third Blood Slaughterer or maybe get a fourth Herald and more Bloodletters or Flesh Hounds.

Some thoughts and questions:

- I'm not going ultra competitive.

- I don't want too many of the otherwise efficient Flesh Hounds.

- Do I need much more anti flyer damage?

- Would love to include a Decimator but unfortunately Forgeworld have made it way to expensive points-wise, agreed?

- What to do with the last 125 points?

- Only 3 Troops choices in a 2000 points army. The idea was to keep only them in reserve so the chances of them lasting all trough the match are greater, which is needed because of objectives.

- I'm not going to include Bloodcrushers or the Skullcannon. The Bloodcrushers because I think Toughness 4 and armour save of 6+ don't suit the model at all and the Skullcannon because I don't like the model.

This is in part why the gods of Chaos are less pivotal in Codex Chaos; we felt that the motivations of Chaos Space Marines should remain their own, no matter how debased and vile. Though the corrupted Space Marines of the Traitor Legions make excellent champions for the gods of Chaos, they are not pawns and have their own agendas of vengeance, empire-building vindication or arcane study which gives them purpose.

I think you have too much stuff on you bloodletters units, you can trim some fat to get it a bit more optimized.

maybe go for 2 teams of furies, they are super cheap and move fast with a decent damage potential if they charge. it gives you more bodies

I think, optimaly, shave the fat, and get more fleshhounds
... or another soulgrinder

You don't like the Instruments or Icons!?

I think they're much appreciated!

meh I dont really like the icon or instrement cuz i like to keep the unit as cheap as possible, a bloodreaper for 5pts sure. but a lesser reward? ok a ap2 with 6s to insta kill isnt too bad but for 10pts on a 15pts model, bringing it to 25pts. he only has 2 attacks.
Soulgrinders, GDs and DPs have all the ap2 you need.
if you need more get khorne Daemonnetes (paint them to fit your army)

You could take a DP with MoK and Wings. Take away some instruments and the Juggernaut, and add hounds.

Seams hounds are more effective these days. DP and Bloodthirster can fly for tons of horde attacks or good Ap. Then hounds for their support. I think it would work

The Good: 8,000
Ultramarine, Scouts, Blood Angels, Dark Angels
The Bad: 8,000
Chaos, Daemons, Dark Eldar, Orks
