I just picked up a vita and I had a couple of questions for anybody that has one. I want to purchase some of the older rpg's like final fantasy 7,8, and 9 but the online store on the vita list the games a compatible with ps3 and psp but it doesn't list vita. I googled if it would work on the vita and supposedly it does but I don't know if that's becuase they bought it for the ps3 and transferred it over or not.

so can I buy/ download directly to the vita or do I need a ps3 first or is there a separate tab for vita versions.

I believe if you download them from the PSN Store they should work. Cause I am thikning of using the Vita as a retro handheld device myself...
