Guarding Guardian

Ok so Friday ill be playing my first game since 4ed with eldar. I've been reading through my dex and come up with a quick hopefully effective list. I'm used to in your face play style even in 4ed so I'm still trying to maintain without getting steamrolled in CC. So lost as follows.

Autarch ()
Ancient Doom, Battle Focus, Fleet, Forceshield, Independent Character, Path of Strategy
Fusion gun (), Haywire grenades, Mantle of the Laughing God (s) (*), Plasma grenades, Shuriken pistol
Eldar Jetbike ()
*
Twin-linked shuriken catapult
Troops (pts)

Dire Avengers (pts)
Ancient Doom, Battle Focus, Counter-attack, Fleet
5x Dire Avenger (pts)
Exarch (pts)
Power weapon and shimmershield (ts)
Wave Serpent (pts)
Holo-fields (pts) (*), Serpent Field, Twin-linked scatter lasers (5pts), Twin-linked shuriken catapults
Dire Avengers (ts)
Ancient Doom, Battle Focus, Counter-attack, Fleet
5x Dire Avenger (s)
Exarch (ts)
Power weapon and shimmershield (pts)
Wave Serpent (pts)
Holo-fields (pts) (*), Serpent Field, Twin-linked scatter lasers (5pts), Twin-linked shuriken catapults
Guardian Defenders (pts)
Ancient Doom, Battle Focus, Fleet
10x Guardian (pts)
Heavy Weapons Platform (pts)
Relentless
Bright lance
Guardian Defenders (pts)
Ancient Doom, Battle Focus, Fleet
10x Guardian (pts)
Heavy Weapons Platform (pts)
Relentless
Shuriken cannon
Fast Attack (pts)

Crimson Hunter (pts)
Skyhunter, Vector Dancer
Pulse Laser, Two Bright Lances
Exarch (pts)
Perfect Strike
Marksman's Eye (ts) (*)

Sorry for all the extra info copied from battlescribe.

My plan is to hold my objective with one squad of guardians and use the other for midfield. The dire avengers I plan on using for constesting or hold my opponents objective. Crimson hunter for vehicles, characters and select targets. Autarch just riding around smacking what he can.

The Twilight Zone

The laughingtaurch needs a close combat weapon. Even if you can only swing a scorpion chainsword, you want to have a halfway decent assault capability. Ideally, get a laser lance but a chainsword will work.

The dire avenger exarch is really only for 10 man squads, as the shimmershield is a force multiplier. Either drop the exarch's, or combine the squads into 1 10 man squad(and just give the serpent to the shuricannon guardian squad). I personally like chin shuircannons on my serpents, but if you need to save points or don't like them, totally ok.

The crimson hunter is made for taking out anything and everything with an AV. Once there is no armor left(and if it is still alive) then you can go after foot targets(terminators and other tough targets first). The exarch is nice to make sure your shots connect, but the marksman's eye is near useless. Hunters rarely live long enough to clear the board of heavy armor, and once they do calling shots on a 6 is good enough. Hunting IC's and special weapons is fairly meh, and most of the things you will want to use the hunter on can LOS and have invul saves. Consider it a blessing if your hunter lives long enough to shoot infantry, and spend the points on marksman's eye elsewhere.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.
