Just wondering if the members of this fine forum can help me with a solid Skorne list. I am open to any list as I currently only own 1 miniature from the Skorne line. I appreciate it guys! Also, money really is no issue so if it is a little costly its okay. Please help!

Common tactic is to Abuse and Enrage the Bronze back, cast Rush on him as well. Now you have an 11" charge with pathfinder. Before you make the charge attack, cast the BBs animus on himself to give you beatback. Now you can potentially walk your way to the enemy caster.

It hits hard, is hard to kill and is able to slaughter loads of infantry. If you want to bring it to 50, just add a max units of slingers and a bronzeback titan

I'd rather take a unit of Slaughterhousers instead. What do the slingers get you?

Ya I am wondering what you get from the Slingers also. They really don't strike me as a solid unit in Skornes impressive arsenal.

Unless you are tailoring to fight Cyriss.

I posted a reply in your thread on the general forum. And yes I recommend slingers. Forget their extra die against jacks it's all about the direct hit corrosion, when you have 10 guys flinging balls of acid even at RAT 5 some area gonna hit and when they do and they manage 2-3 additional 1 wound guys per hit that have a 66% chance of dying the next turn they are great. And the best part of them is 10 for 6pts even if you use them just as soul generators for Zaal that is cheap. Even if they get 1 round of shooting then just tar pit they have done their job.

Slingers are good against jack heavy, or Cyriss or Cryx. On a very basic level they're 10 bodies for 6 points as mentioned above, but also vs the above mentioned lists/armies they can be devastating. Admittedly in an all-comers list they are maybe not the best use of points where perhaps swordsmen for the same points would be better, but its a close thing!

I for one like using both Swordsmen and Slingers in my Zaal lists partly for the differing sting they can add, but also as plentiful cheap bodies to fuel Zaal's feat and his pet soul-takers!
