Here's a Raven Guard Assault Marine I whipped up in 40-ish minutes. Its just table top quality, but I'll be uploading more as the squad gets painted.

Looks great, especially for 40 mins work. One question though, did you thin your paints? Some of the highlights look a *touch* thick and thinning paints always help control the flow of paints allowing for sharper highlights. Other than that - epic! Keep up the good work. May even inspire me to start up a allied Raven Guard contingent myself (As my 2nd favourite Chapter)

Id prime black dry brush grey, do details and call it a day.

Line work is hard to do, a 40 min line job is even harder.

With just a simple dry brush i think they would look much better.

I was doing it in really low light with a standard sized brush, so even though I did try to clean it up I invariably missed some stuff.

Dry brushing is fine, as long as it matches with the rest of your collection. None of the rest of my marines are drybrushed so it'd stand out. However, I did do some battle damage on it and I think it looks way better. I'll upload tomorrow

I would follow up on the battle damage wit some rust effects. How they sit now they look like your paint job is old and flaking. Or the paint is scratching off. Black is very hard to paint along with white for me. Everything shows and corners are harder to cut lol.

Hey there, I was going for a kinda battle-worn look rather than battle damaged. Basically so that the armour looked worn down rather than shot up. So thank you very much for your comments
