First to the Fight!

As part of Games Workshop's expansion across the country, squads of Space Marines are descending on new locations! Stop by on opening Saturday at noon and be the FIRST TO THE FIGHT with activities, contests, and a free stuff (like the patch, buttons and poster shown) while supplies last!

Conversion Competition - We'll provide the bitz, you bring the tools, excitement, and creative genius!

Space Marine Painting Competition - Grab a Space Marine and paint your heart out! Be sure to bring your paint and brushes for this fun painting contest!

Scenario Challenge Competition - Bring your favorite 40K or Warhammer Fantasy army and/or the Lord of the Rings forces and face your opponents in quick, fun scenarios. Participants can play up to three games each if time allows.

The store's first day opens at noon. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners for all "First to the Fight" competitions will be announced at the end of the day.

I am, bringing the vallejo -no, must resist urges- maybe I will go down there if I ever feel like getting back in, but need to remember why I left.

Well, there goes northeast Ohio! If people are driving to Cleveland, may I recommend gamer's haven in parma on pearl road?

Not really sure that this location will do well. Its on the east side of Cleveland, and there isn't really any competition, but the area just seems on the down trend.
Gamer's haven in parma is nice, although they don't carry every single games workshop item if that's what you're looking for, most of it though.
The warzone on rocky river drive in cleveland is a bit of a hoarder's dream so to speak, but many long out of print treasures can be found there if you know where to look or ask about it. Funny thing about hoarders is that normally they know where they put things even if it seems a totally random jumble mess.
Other place in cleveland area is recess in North Olmsted. Really nice gaming space and fully stocked beverage coolers to slack your thirst. Not so much on the stock side of things, but that could have changed in the month or so since I've been there.

The location is fantastic, lots of foot traffic, from the locoal grocery store, chipotle, target, micro center and many other shopping locations. This isn't in Cleveland, its near Cleveland in mayfield heights, and the area isnt on the down trend its middle class to wealthy in that area. East gate Shopping center is usually packed with tons of foot traffic, When the holidays come there is usually no parking, and a ton of people wandering around. I actually think its an ideal spot.

Got a poster and a badge, nice folks seem to work there. about 20-30 people had lined up for it before it opened. so thats good.

Sounds good to me, as far as on the down trend I think I meant as compared to certain other areas in the Cleveland vicinity. Such as Gordon square, Coventry, or beachwood. Mayfield isn't a bad area I was just thinking in terms of a multi million dollar company opening its own store I wouldn't have thought that was the first pick. I want to go check it out for sure though, I just wasn't able to this weekend. I've only been in one actual games workshop store and would like to see if this is a better example of their business model. Any chance you could pm me the hours there if you have them?

STORE HOURS:

Monday - Tuesday: CLOSED

Wednesday - Friday: 12pm - 8pm

Saturday: 11am - 7pm

Sunday: 12pm - 4pm

* Store closes for lunch Wednesday - Saturday from 3pm - 3:30pm.
