Subject: Help for Heroes - Space Marine Army raffle
Apologies if anyone dislikes me posting this but I feel this is a worthy project which should be highlighted to the wargaming community. This may also have been posted elsewhere but I couldn't find it through a quick search.
A number of members of the YouTube community have put their time and effort into painting up models to donate to a charity raffle for Help for Heroes (a british charity for injured servicemen and women) where you can win an entire Space Marine Salamanders Army by giving just a small donation.
The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

You'll get more donations if you post up pictures of the army you're giving away, as people will feel more "Ooo that's cool, want!" and subsequently donate because of it.

Regrettably it's not my army but there are pics if the link is followed to the website. It's also lists the dozens of units, characters, vehicles, objective markers which have been prepared and donated by people
