So the basic plan would be to rush at the enemy with the CCS, devildog, the 2 PCS and 2 infantry squads (the ones with only flamers)

The artillery covered by the infantry squads will sit back and pound the enemy into oblivion, with air protection provided by the vendetta

The concept of this list to to force my opponent to either shoot the chimeras that are rushing him, or to shoot the artillery that is bombing him - either way i doubt most players would be able to effectively rid themselves of 16 tanks

This list is supposed to be fluffy while still packing a punch, i want to field as many tanks as humanly possible (whilst remaining moderately competitive)

Thoughts my dakka compatriots?

IMO this is a good list I would hate to play this list with my Alpha Legion, because I run a cultist list and if you went first turn you would destroy me. Very strong list good job.

If I were you and got first turn, I would rush all my transports forward and try to flank one side, then lay down a heavy barrage on the other side of the table. Try to corral them to get in close to your flamers. your arty wiill become useless after say the third turn but you will do so much damage it wont matter.

Yes that does sound like a solid plan, obviously my tactic will depend on what my opponent brings to the game, first priority will be to protect the artillery, but the best defense is a good offence

Be very careful with necrons. If you are playing them I would make them come to you and just pound them with arty all day. I would split your platoons and move them around making the necrons chase you around the table. you are gonna lose alot of guys though.

True, necrons give any mech force a hard fight, but hopefully they'll suffer many blasts for at least two turns, and my mobility should give me plenty of options
