Hello All

So, I'm back again with another painting challenge to get an army painted for a tournament (not to self for next year's resolutions, keep using the same army!). I'm off with Doctor Alex to a 1500pts Early War tournament in Reading at the annual Warfare convention. I have decided to go for a Soviet Tank army as this will be something completely different from my normal veteran infantry armies I have been using. You can see more details about the army here

The army as it stands

Thanks for looking and wish me luck

It takes big balls to run this kind of army. I am gonna follow this with excitement! Quick qestion, how are you going to do the OT26?

I do have the feeling this list will either win big and quickly or lose big even quicker! Having a look through Blitzkrieg and I really fear anything with Tally Ho...

For the OT26 I'm going to use the Zvezda models http://theplasticsoldiercompany.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=478

Thanks Ben

So my first update, I have tried out the colour scheme on a platoon of BT-7a's. I loved painting these models, very nice and crisp. You can check out more pictures here

Next up the 25 T-26's

Thanks for looking

Had my first ever game of Early War yesterday, 1500pts my Soviet Tank force vs Robin Spence's German Grenadier Infantry. Great game, I won 6-1 but I could have easily lost a few platoons (I passed 3 or 4 platoon moral checks!). Sorry I didn't take any pictures....

Looking forward to my second game next week vs Kevin Perry's French.

Excellent, I love seeing Company + size forces like this.

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

Very nice, surprised that someone could resist the allure of the T-35 land battleship though

I want some T-35's but they were delayed release in the UK so they'll have to wait.
