Hello, I'm just getting started with this game and for whatever reason decided to try out Convergence of Cyriss as my first faction. This list is inspired by me actually bothering to read Aurora's book entry, since I've at least glanced at all the other casters. To be honest she didn't interest me in the slightest, nor do clockwork angels (they just don't seem to serve a purpose other than running forward really fast and then dying).

That said, once I actually read her spell list and feat I thought, "you know what this would really go with, eradicators!"

Aurora +6
* Corollary -3
* Diffuser -3
* Monitor -8
* Assimilator -8

Optifex Directive -2
Min perforators -6
Max eradicators -9
Steelsoul Protector -2

The plan is to pop feat on the turn that the Eradicators get in charge range, I can cast True Path on them and that combined with the diffuser will get them to a 12" charge distance with pathfinder. I also have transference up. The eradicators charge into something, make their charge attacks (mat 9 will hit stuff or so I've been told), then side step and smack something else while boosting damage rolls (or smack the same thing if its stubborn) then side step again, then refuge triggers and I can jam them into something else of my opponent's.

My only concern is that if Aurora does true path, transference, and boosts 3 attacks (assuming that 3/5 eradicators will actually make it to the enemy) she's out of focus, so the steelsoul protector is in there for the off chance it might be able to stop the inevitable that occurs afterwords. Perforators are in there because I really have nothing to deal with armor and they seem to kill most stuff dead that's not too tough.

Keep in mind that I'm still really new to this game and this is basically my first time building a list that's not just following the tier requirements. I'm honestly guessing its horrible, but playing Aurora with 0 clockwork angels might be worth it if I can actually make it work.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Another thing I could probably do is replace the assimilator with an Inverter for armor cracking goodness, then I could replace the perforators with...something else... I guess 2 clockwork angel units would work, but like I said I really don't know if they are actually worth anything.
