There's a bunch of these sorts of things all over Ebay

I'm guessing these are the infamous "recasts"? It's difficult to imagine how they would magically have an economical way to sell real Forgeworld stuff from mainland China. But they do seem to get very positive feedback. There's some similar ones from various Russian locales. Anyone tried these?

Personally, from a UK perspective, I'd steer well clear of them, just to be on the safe side. Call me cynical, but I'd rather pay full price to be safe in the knowledge that it's 100% FW. On the subject of feedback, unless the feedback explicitly refers to a 'Forgeworld' item, then it could just as easily refer to any old batch of goods, like a crappy £2 torch, that comes cheap out of China to make a profit on. I'd also mention though, that it is probably possible for them to make a profit selling stuff cheap as the exchange rate means that £5 equals roughly 1000 yen (Check the front of your latest WD for that) - however, I'll bet that in China, everyday stuff such as food isn't costing thousands of yen. (Mind you don't quote me on that, as I haven't been to China)

Dakka's not the place to advertise re-casters.
