I am a newish 40k player, been playing about 3 months.

This is a take all comers list but my next opponent plays Necrons which I know nothing about.

Daemon prince wings, pa , blackmace, pysker level 2, mon
khorn lord on juggernaut with soc, axe of blind fury

10 plague marines +2 melta guns in LAND RAIDER
10 beserkers with chain axe, champion has power weapon in LAND RAIDER
2 heldrakes
4 bikes mon, 2x plasma , champion has power fist
35 cultists 3 heavy stubbers all auto guns
10 chaos space marines mon, 2 melta guns in rhino

thats 2415 points. Any thoughts? =)

Welcone to 40k and dakka
MSS will ruin your day. Look out for anillalation barges, tomb stalkers. Crons will most likly out range you can get back up, and generally be annoying. Your drakes will be great for killing mass crons, so enjoy the game.

you should do DoT instead of DoN on your DP. Also GoM isn't a bad choice on him along with spell familiar.

Who is your lord running with? is he running solo? he should have some friends, you know, as meat shields...

Split up your cultists, unless you are attaching the lord to him and running them up, otherwise i'm guessing they are objective holders (start them in reserves if this is the case)

LR and your heldrakes are the main focus of your anti-vehicle. What about your anti-air?- also what happens if the other person approaches your landraider with melta's since you are mainly using them to transport?-2500 point game, a lot more powerful weapons to take out powerful models. Be wary with your LR aggression.

Also, I believe necron's vehicles typically have stronger side armor then anything, and vector strikes are counted against the side armor...

I say drop the Khorne Bezerkers.
Your list is very shooty heavy. The Bezerkers seem out of place there. You might as well use the points of the bezerker for something else. I am not sure of what you can replace them with, but judging to my knowledge, I would say more bikers with MoN and the bezerker land raider for maybe more marines for with plasmas to destroy infantry (All those juicy marines and terminators.)

Normally I run two lords on juggernauts and hide them behind 2 land raiders with 3 rhinos full of beserkers. But I got raped by tau doing that. I put a demon prince in my list this round because I figured necrons have no easy solution towards it.
I actually ended up having to cancel our battle due to me having to work on my only schedule day off =(

I could really use some more help on a 2500 point csm vs necrons army list tho. I have literally every single model except for spawn, but I can get IT before the time comes. If not I can borrow or proxy.

You need a Chaos Lord with the MoN to make Plague Marines troops. Daemon Prince doesn't count.

I'm not sure he was using PM as troops since he had a unit of cultists and normal csm
