will have to stay out of cc, but i think it's decent...

Not bad, I would however suggest taking that multi melta attack bike and losing it for some more upgrades, namely meltaguns on your basic biker squads. Also, lose one typhoon land speeder and get a dark shroud, for more survivability. Jink + skilled rider + shrouded is a 2+ cover save! Also, with the points left over see if you can get an apothecary for your command squad.

ya at 1k points I would drop the single attack bike & flamers and have x2 melta guns with each squad .... a dark shroud would be a good idea, I know the sammy model is $ irl wise and while sableclaw is a av 14 land speeder putting sammy on his bike and attaching him to a unit of ravenwing bikers buffs the squad alot.

I concur with Whereswaldo on the squads, but I personally would rather take the speeder typhoons over the Darkshroud. Adding in the extra templates at a 1k level is veeery nice.

took flamers on the off chance that i get charged, they should help with overwatch. in lieu of meltas, i took the typhoon speeders to add a little armor defense. if i can stay out of range and keep them focused on the bikers and sammael, i should be able to deal a few glances. same with the attack bike w/melta.

i don't own a dark shroud, or it would certainly be in the list.
