Hey Dakka People!

So I made a new Army List 1000 points. I won't know my partner till 5 mins before the game, so I have to make a 1000 point list, and so does he.

So Here's my list:

HQ: Captain Cato Sicarius 185

Fort: Firestorm Redoubt 200

Troops: Tac with 1 flamer and a Rockin' in a Rhino 110

Troops 9 men Tac with 1 plasma, Also in a rhino except this rhino has a Storm Bolter 181

Elite: Venerable Dreadnought with MM and ML flyin' down in a naked Drop Pod. 170

Heavy Support: Devastator squad with 4 LC 150

which makes 996

The other option is taking combi weapons in my tac squad so I have 3 missile launchers and 1 lascannon in my devastsators


As far as Tactics

I got my devastators kickin back and chilling in the firestorm redoubt, so they get a cover save.

Sicarius is going with the 9 men tactical squad in the rhino.

The venerable dreadnought is really just a tank popper. He's there if someone has a LR or a monolith or something (which would be odd in 1k points but I have fielded a LR in 1k points)
So he can die as soon as he pops a big tank, or something that forms great danger. like in the first turn it can easlly pop a spammed out lascannon predator
