Trying to make a foot list competitive without flyers and with very few vehicles.
The object of the list is to open up vehicles as quickly as possible and or tie up infantry with the mini scarab farm. Then advance with warriors and rapid fire/flame template infantry to death, while supported by barges.

I like the idea, I think the list is going to be hard to take down. the only issue I see is ranged armies like Tau. They'll cut this down real quick in my opinion. However, keep us posted on how it works because the list definitely intrigues me!

I will post back after the tournament. Any thing you would change, i have this list pretty stretched.

Are you certain that all your opponents will be mechanised?

I think you're going to receive a hurting from anyone who brings flyers to the table. I recommend at least 1 quad gun, if not two -- or do you plan on plastering the skies with gauss fire from your warriors? That could work, but I feel like you might risk get crushed by artillery from afar. If I was playing against you, I'd stay out of range with something like a Doomsday Ark and/or Heavy Gauss Cannons. I think long-range shooty armies, or ultra tough TEQ lists would really be painful (I have a friend who has something like 35 to 40 Terminators in his Deathwing army -- deepstrike those bad-boys and watch out!). I'd imagine blood angels would also lay down the hurt in CC

So..:
- artillery = ouch
- close combat nasties = ouch

I asked the GW staff at my local store, and the same unit of models can operate multiple quad guns (for example, 1 unit of 10 warriors can be given 2 quad guns to shoot). For 200 points you'd get 2 aegis defence lines with quad guns. Wow. How many times did I mention quad guns? You can quad gun your quad gun with your quad gun into your opponent's quad gun

After saying all that, I'm excited to see how your Royal Court fares! A bunch of Abyssal Staves going around the board with a Veiltek? Ouch!!

Okay that is some food for thought, i appreciate your honesty.
I can tweak to have a squad to draw fire or deep strike to mess with arty. The royal court is actually all split up into each unit of warriors. I have tried the deep striking all despair court, and it rarely ever bullseyes for me, so it never actually did a lot of damage, although it was very annoying and hard to wipe out.

Do you think a 110 point Veiltek, 2x Harbingers of the storm would be sufficient backfield harassment? They are very safe because the unit is only 3 strong, so mishaps are rare. and they drop 8 haywire shots, and or 8 str 5, and a str 8 template on infantry.

Dump the royal court unless you want 1 veil, boost one squad to 20 and run zahndrekh. Being able to get stealth or tank hunter on 20 warriors is great, and giving furious charge to scarabs is hilarious. I'd bring 1 squad of 10 scarabs to start and look into an aegis, you're gonna want that cover save and you get to choose where it goes.
