Was pulled back into the hobby by a friend adding me to his FB group where started getting involved in some of the discussions there. Dug out my old models and started painting stuff again after a 5/6 year break!

Been in the hobby for a good 15+ years now and am purely a painter/modeller. I started back at WD issue 219 which had an Ultramarine biker coming out of the front cover. Got into SM's and saw the battle report in that WD between BA and eldar, painted my SM as BA's completely unaware that SM's 'could' even be painted other colours and have stayed a BA person since. I also acquired a small eldar mobile army in my own craftworld colours of dark blue and white.

My BA army comprises of the 2nd company plus a few other bits, mostly still on sprues - yes 15 years and I have most of my stuff unpainted as I'm just that slow.

Eldar is a load of falcons, bikes and wraithguard + aspects. (again mostly on sprues/boxes or bascoated_

My resurgence in the hobby was also spured on by a purchase of an airbrush just before I stopped the hobby, so dusted that off and have started to add it into my painting process with enjoyable results so far. Once I get myself sorted out and my back bedroom cleaned out I shall be finishing off my battle company and getting pics up over in the showcase or blog area.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
