I was bored last night and reading up on the Syrian civil war. I ended up on Live Leaks and saw some very nightmarish things - things that make the articles posted here about children being murdered look like a picnic. Now I know these human rights abuses caught on video exist, but in the age of HD you are no longer looking at some blurry phone video with random noises.....

I think more people need to see this stuff to get actual changes made in this world.... a headline "32 people killed in bomb attack" doesn't really strike you as much as seeing some kid being "treated" in a hospital (aka house with a medic) with his entire jaw blown off or watching people burned alive for being "witches". I'm not easily bothered, but man this stuff......

The TV news and papers have shown horrible material from wars and famines, etc since the 1960s if not earlier. (IDK how horrible the cinema newsreels of WW2 might have been.)
