SoBs/SoBs-like models seem to be one of the more vocally requested miniature types around.
Curious why nobody has done quality power-armored female troops for a reasonable cost --- OR have I missed something that doesn't cost darn near what SOBs cost already?

Raging Heroes have a SoB kickstarter in the pipeline apparently.
That should make a full range of plastic multi parts troops and metal heroes who will most likely be expensive (compared to everything other than actual GW) but very nice quality. Automatically Appended Next Post: Alternatively once the first Raging Heroes kickstarter stuff hits the shelves their Kurganova girls could make decent SoB.

The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that. |

One of the more interesting projects that never quite got legs under it were these
http://www.rebelminis.com/eafova.html
Think it was MicroPanzer who started them, and he had some great concept art to go with the few figures he had sculpted. Not sure if Rebel bought the rights to the concept or just to the figures he had done at the time, but it might be worth looking into.

Thanks to all. The Raging Heroes stuff does look super cool.
Unfortunately, on most of these is for 75 cents more and you can buy a SOB mini (rank & file not a character).

When it comes to getting the ladies you'll always have to pay.

Eventually Dreamforge will be releasing the Black widows, which will (probably) be plastic and cheaper than other options. Check out the Ada figure they made to get an idea of what the black widows might look like.

If they're anything like that fig, I'll be happy. I've always wanted to do a Sisters of Battle force, but the models and cost have never been right for me to make the leap. Even used the GW models tend to be way overpriced, so a 3rd party plastic that looks good will be a welcome addition.

Infinity has nice female models, but they will be pretty expensive (6 GBP a piece).
