Hi folks, looking for any gaming clubs or gamers in the west end of Glasgow. 25 Years old and getting back into the hobby after a while off. Don't get to play nearly as often as I'd like due to work commitments and would be interested to meet similar aged players in the west end.

What do you play? G3 Gamers runs every Tuesday night from 6- 10:30 in the Woodside Hall (a minute away from St George's Cross subway station). As for what's played major systems like Warhammer, Warmachine, Infinity, Malifaux, Flames of War, Dystopian Wars, and well every other game that you'll find on the shelves of a FLGS are played regularly, with players that're more than willing to run participation games for those interested. Entry's £3 a night, £2 for members (with membership also netting a 10% discount on all purchases over £10 from a number of local model shops in the area).

Awesome, I will have a look and see! Do you need to let folk know you are coming or can you just turn up on the night and say hello?

There's no formal organising games or anything (ie there's no sign up sheet like GW has these days, just find a free table). You can just turn up and have a look about, introduce yourself and whatnot. New members tend to join the Facebook group and start a discussion about their interests there, possibly set up a game with someone or whatever, then come along, but just walking in one night's perfectly acceptable.

This week coming though the club's taking place in a smaller room upstairs (due to the ongoing refurbishment of the building), so numbers will probably be lower, and wargames may not be getting played much (as who wants to carry all that gear up two flights of stairs?). So I'd suggest waiting until regular business resumes on the 22nd to pop in.

Hi chrismck I'm in the west end and a big 40k fan. A few of my regular opponents seem to be dropping 40k in favour of other games so I'd be keen to get in touch and arrange something. Tt

I have been hitting up g3 on a Tuesday night. Well worth a look. Been playing 40k, xwing and just started bolt action myself so gonna be playing that now as well!

Just wondering what the X-Wing turnout is like generally? I'm just picking that up myself as I've kind of lost interest in 40k with the new edition.
