Allies

Commander-135pts
-command and control node
-puretide neurochip
-multi-spectrum sensor suit

Riptide-210pts
-ion accelerator
-fusion blaster
-early warning overdrive
-velocity tracker

10 kroot-60pts

3 broadsides-225pts
-all with target lock
-1 missile drones
-all with bonding knife ritual

So the plan is simple. Thunderfire cannons stay in the back and hide out of line of sight and pepper the enemy, while 3 10 man tactical squads drop T1 and kill high level targets. The riptide and broadside kill something that needs to die, broadsides will have commander helpful. The libby is there to provide phsyic defense. Kroot go in reserve and walk on and hide on a objective. The last tac squad wil drop and finish something up.

The Twilight Zone

I can't say much for the marines, but Ill speak about the tau. I assume the libby is with the sides for buffs and stuff? Since broadsides use TL weapons, the commander does not need the C&C node, just the multi spec. I assume your going missile pods and smart missiles? If not you should. Consider grabbing EWO's instead of target locks.

I know the riptide is your AA defense, but the velocity tracker will not help all that much and is rather expensive. Keep it if you have nothing better to buy, but don't rely on the riptide to really stop much of anything with AA shooting. Maybe with the fusion blaster...

The kroot really need a hound. Since your outflanking onto an objective, you need acute senses and the hound is just too cheap.

If you ever have spare points, the neuroweb jammer is really good for a commander. So is the onager gauntlet.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

Combi-grav seems useless on the tacs...
I would prefer a combi-melta to make sure that what you want dead is dead
