So that gives you 8 blasts with each r'varna that nova's near the ethereal. (2 weapons with one shot each, + 1 shot each from the ethereal, firing twice is 8 large blasts). Handy how those cannons are PULSE. Farseer for twin linking. who needs troops? This is... scary.

Good luck convincing people that the ethereal gives +1 shot to the R'Varna's weapons, when it is not listed as a pulse weapon in the codex pulse weapons list.

But you don't even have any markerlights, yeah S8 AP2 is nice, but the strength of the Riptide (and soon to be, the R'Varna) is how easy you can make it ignore cover, without doing any of that, I don't see any real threat from this list.

I mean, do you really need to remove cover with that many wounds? Against serpent spam you're talking 3 str8 ap3 hits per blast. even if they sv 1 from jink, who cares? Sure, I could probably remove the eldar, and add in pathfinders, but really, come on now. How isn't they way over the top broken?

Well yeah you do, you are paying a lot of points to put those guns on the table, you want them to be at maximum effectiveness wherever possible.
