Not much is to be said, I've dabbled in Warhammer 40k since the late 90's mostly following the story, collecting with a serious case of ADD as I'd managed to sample miniatures from every force but not settled, unsatisfied with the variety of plastic range for Imperial Guard. Catachan models are an awkward thing to own in large quantities and without time to properly devote to sculpting a force, Warhammer 40k and I didn't really lift off, but it was a blast selling my desire to paint the damn things to my local hobby groups. Not the best but, good enough to immerse any player properly into their game rather than leave you feeling like you'd wasted your afternoon indoors bent over a table slowly shuffling your dolls around, as some might have described it >_<.


As it stands now GW's range of plastic catachan and cadian has more than improved, allowing me to get my slice of the 40k universe like I've wanted to for years. Damn shame GW disbanded the noble Trolls who helped me to help my friends pick through all the classic bits, so as to watch my work reign havoc in the 41st millennium. And support my collecting at the same time, of course. It's a real neat but dating thing to look at another player's army and recognize pewter minis, even the lead relics that are more than two decades old. Definately a universe to rival phenomena like Star Trek and Battlestar Galactica... (i typed star wars before typing battlestar galactica, trying not to double up on titles containing the word Star, i have failed) primed for anyone to carve a buttkicking niche. I wanted to type something stronger than buttkicking, but I didn't want to invoke the Waaaagh.


Anyway. I've already impressed myself that my... lexicon, did not draw the eyes of the Inquisition upon me for the crime of verbal and scriptural blasphemies. I mean, I used a bare minimum of swear words. =3
