Hello everybody,

It's not really a tutorial but just to show how easy it is to make the centurions less statics! The kit looks far more better and shows it potential with a few cuts and arrangements!
I was very disappointed first when I saw the first pictures of centurions by GW, but after close inspection, it's really easy to do something good with it!

You will need:
-a sharp modelism knife, the blade should be thin;
-Glue;
-a bit of green stuff to consolidate and fill holes. (Nothing to sculpt if you are doing good)

Here the pictures

GENERAL WARNING: DO NOT MIX UP THE DIFFERENT BITZ THEY ARE NOT ALL COMPATIBLE! Put them in small plastic bags not to mix them up.

Furthermore

If you want to change the position of the arms, you will need to have some guitar strings because all the cable are design to fit only the original arm position. (or you do not put any cable!)
I didn't change my centurions arms position because the weapons have magnets and can be switched which make that I will have to have to make my own pair of cable for every weapon. (total 16!)

Thanks, hope it will be usefull for you!

If you can't find guitar strings for those cables, you can use sheathed wire instead, or you can always twist two pieces of unsheathed wire together.

I would have liked to see the end result of some of this work, but despite its absence this was informative.

Thanks! The end result will come when euh it will be painted!

I do not dispose of much time for the hobby and less when i managed to loose a lascanon somewhere between my flat, the staircase and the common room where I am doing the undercoat, and spend hours looking after it!

But promise, pix when it's finished will be posted here!

Great work! I was curious about that, I may have to make three seperate plates from green stuff, just to see if it will make a difference in the look vs the solid plates in the box.
