So, when you lose your Lt., does the model you promote have to have the option to be a Lieutenant/chain of command, or can it be any old model?

Q: What do you call a Dinosaur Handpuppet?

A: A Maniraptor

Any model except REMs.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

Any model except REMs... which does have some hilarious corner cases.

Combined Army especially. 'Look sir, that Preta is our new commanding officer!' and 'Our leader hasn't even been BORN yet, he's still a seed pod!'

Ariadna has another funny one 'Sir, the LT got shot. Promote the antipode, he seems like a smart puppy'.

That's pure B - "U" - L - L - S - H - I - T.

It's clearly stated in the rules: "anyone except REMs, Antipods, Hungries and Irregular units (in the case of a regular army, which is almost always)"

Holycrap. I just realized the SuJian "Transformer" isn't a remote. It's just a regular Heavy Infantry. That thing is weird in every way.

But there's nothing wrong with the Sù-Jiàn taking command. Afterall there's a human operator somewhere within a few hundred Km radious.
The Karakuri on the other hand... well, there goes to say these things feature quite an advanced AI software, I guess

Could you check the background for Su-Jian. Unless I imagined it, it has a pilot not a remote control. Even something about the transformation causing horrendous stress on the pilot's body. I do not have the book to check it myself.

The Sù-Jiàn Program is the jewel in the crown of Yu Jing’s military industry. A Remote Presence Heavy Infantry with variable morphology.

Straight from CB's website.

It's a remote presence unit. No strain on the operator's body at all.

Like ^ says.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.

Ah, that's how it is. I got puzzled by later references of exoskeleton.
