Hi!

Painting a Heldrake using the tips laid out here. It's mainly purple, gold and white, with some flesh and metal for good measure.

Anyway, the last step on the gold calls for an extremely thinned Druchii violet glaze.

1) What does extremely thinned mean in this context?

2) Is this step needed or should I skip it? In other words, is the risk of me fudging my model greater than the possible reward?

Hi mate. Pretty much thin enough so when you run your brush on your plastic paint palit you can still see the plastic but is now tinted. Make sure your brush doesn't have to much on it as its not a wash.
