aegis defence line w/ quad gun

Hi

A few questions on the list :
- why the aegis, you will likely bring most with DS and be in opponent zone, furthermore, most fliers wont be too much of a bother fot you with 2+ saves.
- if you want to really go with a Ghostwing (alphastrike), yes Mordrak and DK go well together, but the other half will only come turn 2 at best. why not take some interceptors instead for better T1 Alphastrike?
- For an alphastrike, an archivist can be quite nice with Mordrak (with GK powers) for the flamer type power on T1.
- you could also go with Coteaz for lots of cheap troops with your alpha strike

This way you get 6 mobile troops, better Alphastrike, better AA (with the razorback and psyamo)

The QuadGun is a Gun Emplacement, so it cannot autofire.
So someone must be manning it.
Seems a huge waste to have a strike squad or Terminator hanging back just to fire it.

I added the adl just to give me something on flyers. I would rather have something than nothing at all, but do like to do things properly.

Interceptors are way too expensive. 300 points for a 10 man unit isn't good.

I have considered a libby but I haven't got enough points. I may take an inquisitor instead.

A coteaz list isn't what I am looking for and isn't anything like I am doing, which is a 2+ armour save army, mostly.

The 5 man strike squad will man the quad gun, they are only 110 points inc psycannon. I I wouldn't say that's a huge waste of points and in all scenarios some unit needs to man the quad gun. Not only that they can claim an objective in the rear.
