Hi all i will play with dark Eldars this weakend against my friend ,so here is my 1000 p ork list hou you guiz think it will go against dark eldars?

997 p totall , i think to add ammo runt to warlord warboss to fill those 3 points , and just for fun of little grot runing around da boss . bouth warbosses wil go in truks with meganobz and nobz warlord will probably go with painboy for fnp , Eny advices wood be good and sorry for english

I'm no expert, but if he's got any lances in his army two trucks isn't going to last long.

Lets say you go first and move max distance; then the dark eldar move all their raiders away from the oncoming trucks, blow them up and then you're left with slow footslogging orks with only lootas and the jet to take out enemy transports. That's one or two a turn, but then the boyz have to get to them...

My advice would be more trucks, say 5 or 6. Then you've got more target saturation for him to deal with and some of its bound to get to its targets.

I'd also recommend trying to get at least 2 squads of 5 lootas, if you're lucky they'll each pop a squishy raider a turn.

4 nobs are gonna do nothing at all, they aren't gonna last. The best thing you can do is max out the amount of bodies you can get on the table, at 1k level Orks excel at swamping others with boys.

I'd say drop the meganobs, and nobs. Max out the amount of boyz you can possibly field. The last 1k list I fielded was this

HQ
Big Mek W/ KFF, Burna & 'eavy armour (110 points)
Big Mek W/ SAG & Ammo runt (98 points)

Elites
Lootas x 8 (120 points)

Troops
Gretchin x 10 W/ Runtherd (40 points)

All this was 1 point under, at least 70 bodies on the table. The things I think you need to do is

1: More boys with PK/BP nob with each unit
2: More lootas if you can
3: If you're going for nobs, take around 6-10 and a pain boy (6+ FNP is actually useful)
4: You're not gonna be able to deal with any armour if your friend brings any along, so add PKs to your nobs or some big gun units

I still decided to keep my warbosses because i just love them so much , as well as meganobz

That's a nice list. try removing the red paint jobs on the trukkz and replace it with another big choppa and another kombi skorcha as from past experiance i have found that the extra 1 inch movement is useless and a waste of points but the reinforced ram is great because after the trukk has delivered the troops it can try to force some units off of objectives using tank shokk

Personally (this is just me) I find RPJ a necessity when it comes to trukks because they're so fragile, you can guarantee they're barely gonna last 2 turns. So you need to turbo boost it as far as you can and get your Orks into combat asap.

3 Trukks and 10 Lootas with a Dakkajet ..not to bad should work okay

Well I had played with dark eldar before, they are pretty popular in my gaming group. So from what I felt on my own skin, I know this - they shoot a lot and some of them can be really nasty in close combat, I often was a victim of them killing my vehicles and just kiting me around ( especially when they wreck your bw and then blast 20 boys with big blasts from their flyers), then again, big squads of nob bikers suffer from them too, because a lot of them have poison and they just ignore your big toughness ( and they'll hit before you because of their insane initiative ) I really don't have many recommendations about what to use against them, but lootas pop their vehicles very effective since they don't have high armor value, flamers and especially scorchas also help a lot, so maybe some comby weapons. Try to pop as many bouts as you can, and get to scoring squads at full strength, because dark eldars are really good at ripping your army by little pieces. Congrats on your mighty WAAAAAGH! Yeah i've been looking through their codex and the CC looks real nasty, I like the fact their skimmers and vehicles are low armour so i'm dropping in some flash gitz who ignore cover saves (so no jinx saves!) i'm going with a lot of shooty options, this is my current 2k list atm http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/559844.page i've got another 500-1k left so i can double force org and drop in my Big Mek bros and make a Deff Dread a troop choice, I need to pick up some more lootas to really bring the rain.
