I am an ork collector more than a ork player. I love the ork models (esp the machines) and I love conversions using different boxes esp the ones with multiparts.

Here is what I have so far .....

2 x ORk boss (assault on black reach edition) i can change one into a big mek may be?
2 x Ork Boyz box
1 x Nobz box
1x truk
1 x box of bikers
3 x deff koptas ( AoBR)
1x killa kan box
1 x deff dread box
3 extra boyz
1x battle wagon box

i have ordered an ork bommer

and soon in near future going to order a gargant ( collecting money for that, its very expensive) and a box of storm boyz (love the bitz in that box)

with these models can i make an army that can stand a chance against other players? or would this make a bad army as far as orks army is concerned.

any advise or if any one can make an army list form the above models i would be really appreciate that.

You don't really have enough troops.

To start of with orks, you want atleast 60-90 boys. We are orks we are THE HORDE! WE ARE LEGION WE BE DEM GREENEST OF EM ALL!


Anyways i can see you are also doing the biggest fault every ork player tend to fall into.. Do not get one of every unit!

Out of what you got here you can probably manage a 500-1000 list but not the best ones have that in mind.

Be more than they have time to kill...Your first 600 points should be spent on bog standard boyz...

Yeah, you're gonna need a whole lot more boyz! At least try and get a mob of 30 shootas and at least 20-25 slugga boyz. Then try and go for even more boyz, next up would be lootas. Lots and lots of lootas.

I'd also say build your bomma into a dakkajet, it's personal preference but dakkajets I find to be more useful than the rest.

(but in all seriousness more boyz n lootaz)

Depends on the speed freak list you are doing.

Either way be Warboss on bike with a group of nob bikers along with wazdakka and a bunch of warbikers backed up by some dakkajets

Secound be trukk rush allot of boys stuffed into trukks backed up by nob bikers / warbikers & Dakkajets. You can also add deffkoptas / warbuggies for flavours choise.. not that competive but fun units. (Best used in a cassual gaming local)

Exactly. If you are footslogging, use shoota boyz, if you are going to use transports, you can have slugga boyz. I'd probably run a trukk or two full of shoota boyz with slugga boyz tailing behind, and have stormboyz leaping around behind them. Throw in some nob bikerz and lootaz, and you've got a pretty good Kult of Speed army
